6 Spirit-Filled Days in the beautiful city of Pokhara
Probably the most beautiful city in Nepal is the lakeside city of Pokhara. Nestled on the eastern shore of Phewa Lake, this city and lake are at the base of the amazing Annapurna Mountain Range.
Pokhara features so much to see and do. Here is Davis Falls that roars into a box canyon before disappearing underground. There are temples both on an island in Phewa Lake as well as underground. High above the city is the World Peace Pagoda, built by Japanese Buddhists. Pokhara is home to some very beautiful Buddhist monasteries where you will see chanting monks and lamas. Pokhara features world class museums as well as incredible mountain views. The Annapurna Mountains are probably the most impressive of all the ranges in the Himalayas with their wonderful, distinct snowcapped peaks.
This tour instructs you on the principles of Buddhist meditation. You will be taught by lamas and masters in Buddhism who will explain Buddhist philosophy and rituals.
