Group Size
For village experience tours, we ensure the standard group size, not exceed 16 pax. This group size is perfect for us to perform our best without compromising with our service quality. For this tour we provide one licensed professional guide who can communicate or speak in English and supporting staff. Also,a group of 16 participants will have one complimentary group leader.

Our staff are entirely made up of locals who are trained to conduct their duties and responsibilities diligently and smoothly. They have excellent knowledge about local customs and practices and can also perform, if needed, first aid and rescue operations.

Accomodation
There are various levels and types of accommodation facilities available in major cities such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini. A variety of choices exists from budget hotels to deluxe to five-star hotels depending upon your interests. We choose accommodation for your tour program specifically based on the destination you will be visiting, the level of services you require and your interests. Our tour programs offer single rooms for independent tourists, double/twin sharing for couples and friends.

For this tour we offer two types of accommodation, ‘Deluxe hotel’ in the city and ‘Basic Homestays’’ during the village tour. City accommodation will be arranged in Double/ Twin Sharing basis in Deluxe hotel on bed & breakfast plan and the ‘Homestay’ features village houses with simple bedding in a very rural traditional set up which are often chosen based on bed availability and trekking itinerary. The ‘Hotels and Homestays’ have been selected by the Asia Buddhist Tours & Treks after personal inspection. We look at the conditions of the inns, local hygiene, quality of food, type of service and more. All rooms in the city are double occupancy, but you can request a single occupancy room for an additional fee. However, sometimes single rooms are not available in some places, depending upon seasonality with limited choices available in peak season. The availability of rooms vary between peak and lean tourist seasons which also affect the prices. We suggest you inform us in advance the types of hotels you prefer while making a booking with us.

Food
Touristic cities such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, offer some of the finest dining restaurants. Get spoiled with unlimited choices for cuisines, ranging from local Nepali food to international delicacies. In contrast, there might not be as much variety of cuisines available on the trekking trail. Here the ‘Homestays’ and small eateries along the trail will offer you basic meals such as Nepali Dal Bhat, Dhido, Champa etc along with tea and coffee.

For this tour we offer you full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) basic local meal and 3 cups of tea/coffee per day. Please note that full board meals are not included during your transition stay in city areas, guests will have to pay for the meals (dinner and lunch), alcohol, hot & cold beverages and mineral water.
